Requiem traces the story of a human life from birth to the present, following memories, sensations, and the inner stimuli that shape one’s existence.
By illuminating the realms of the subconscious and the unconscious, it invites the audience on a journey through a “tunnel of memory.”
Every transformation is reflected on stage, and all the elements filling the space evolve step by step, completing the narrative.
The themes it addresses are far from light: childhood violence, a sense of distance from reality, the turmoil of adolescence, and the death of a friend.
Yet these dark memories are interwoven with luminous moments such as the first smile, the first love, the first friend, and the first child.
Requiem portrays human life with honesty, where pain and light, wounds and love coexist.
Requiem is a multidisciplinary contemporary performance that combines theater, video, and music, transforming the entire venue into a stage.
From the moment the audience steps inside, they begin to question where reality ends and fiction begins.
Free from conventions, limitations, and taboos, actors and audience share deeply personal yet universal stories, ultimately arriving at a single question:
“What is it that leads us to life?”

살거스의 〈레퀴엠〉은 한 인간이 태어난 순간부터 지금에 이르기까지, 기억과 감각, 그리고 내면의 자극을 따라가는 이야기이다.
잠재의식과 무의식의 세계를 비추며, 관객을 ‘기억의 터널’로 이끄는 여정이 펼쳐진다.
무대 위에는 변화의 과정이 그대로 드러나고, 공간을 채우는 모든 요소들은 단계적으로 변모하며 서사를 완성해 간다.
작품이 다루는 소재는 결코 가볍지 않다. 유년기의 폭력, 현실과의 거리감, 청소년기의 혼란, 친구의 죽음과 같은 기억들이 등장한다.
그러나 이 어두운 기억들은 첫 웃음, 첫사랑, 첫 친구, 첫 아이와 같은 찬란한 순간들과 교차하며 하나의 삶으로 엮인다.

배우와 관객은 어떠한 고정관념이나 제한, 금기 없이 지극히 개인적이면서도 보편적인 이야기를 함께 경험하며, 마침내 하나의 질문에 도달한다.
